Rob and I were enjoying a private ‘Sound of Music’ moment when two exhausted backpackers crawled over the nearest hill. They didn’t speak a word of English, and had some strange snow-related habits. But they laughed at Rob’s jokes and took great videos, so we all went for a wander along the pretty Governors Bush Walk and became best friends.

It looks freezing!
We were actually there last week and the weather was cold but we were warm inside during the snowstorm. Seeing that much snow for the first time was fantastic! Rob and I are further south now, which is colder overnight but warm during the day.
Some absolutely fabulous memories there for you guys. (Some quite frightening moments, too, like when the mysterious backpacker takes his clothes off and bares his chest in, what looks to be, some strange Nordic-style custom. I hope you hid your passports while in their company.
I don’t know that half-naked man. He just came out of the wilderness while I was trekking. I ran to the hills but, for some reason, everyone tagged along. It’s like Sound of Music meets Friday the 13th. To avoid any more nightmares, I’ll edit his nakedness on Photshop.
