Bradrona
Bradrona, otherwise know as the Cardrona bra fence, is a sight to behold – an open field hemmed by a simple wire fence, heaving with hundreds of donated bras from around the world. This quirky tourist site is situated two minutes from the Insta-worthy Cardrona Hotel.
There is a breast cancer donation box on site at Bradrona, which has raised almost $130,000 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. If you are planning to visit, remember to bring some cash to leave in the donation box.
As I live with breast cancer, I couldn’t resist leaving my favourite bra on the fence. We all thought it was quite cool that my lacy blue cups will forever flap in the breeze at Bradrona.

Cardrona
The Cardrona Hotel makes a quaint and historic stop for lunch on the way from Queenstown to Wanaka. The gardens are worth a wander. It is original and delightful.

I can’t believe we didn’t have time to have lunch there. At least we had time to pop in at the Wanaka on the way.
