Kalbarri is a coastal town 6 hours north of Perth. The highlights here were a stop at Hutt Lagoon (it’s pink!), the stunning gorge of Kalbarri National Park, and snorkelling right off the beach at Blue Holes, with lovely, friendly fish.
The friendly and knowledgeable Kalbarri camping shop owner fixed us up with local knowledge, fishing bait and snorkelling kit.
The cordon bleu camp chef served up veggie frittata, using fresh eggs and herbs from Murray and Sally’s garden. Delicious!
